Our staff

We have a team of caring and experienced staff who are able to give the children in our care the best possible education.

Our staff teams across the four schools are led by a team of inspirational leaders who bring a mix of skills, approaches and styles to the Federation.

Our Federation leadership team

Emma Hickling

Executive Headteacher
Head of School
Platts Heath Primary School

I am the Executive Headteacher of the KULB Federation and Platts Heath Primary School, which KULB is supporting for this academic year.

I have been a Headteacher now for 12 years and have been associated with Kingswood for 15 years!

I also co-ordinate the Headteacher Induction Programme for Kent and am a Department for Education women in leadership coach.

I aim to provide the highest quality of education for the pupils of the Federation and am passionate about inclusivity.

Lynsey Sanchez Daviu

Head of School
Kingswood Primary School

I have been the Head of School at Kingswood Primary School since Easter 2019.

Alongside of my passion for teaching, is a guilty pleasure of music and broadcasting. From 2008 to 2015 I was fortunate enough to co-present BBC Radio Kent’s Saturday Morning Breakfast show and work alongside the amazing Pat Marsh; someone who I now share a coffee with instead of the airwaves.

My spare moments are either spent with family and friends, or in the kitchen baking up a storm; I’m certainly no Mary Berry, but it brings a smile to my face.

Hannah Ward

Head of School
Leeds and Broomfield CE Primary School

Since September I’ve been Head of School at Leeds & Broomfield. Prior to this I was Assistant Head at another local school. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and love that no day is ever the same.

Outside of school I spend most of my time playing sports, cooking (and eating) far too much food and entertaining my little brother.

Emma Masters

Head of School
Ulcombe CE Primary School

I have been the Head of School for Ulcombe since Easter 2019.

I hold responsibility of Maths subject leader for the Federation. I have been part of the KULB federation for 5 years.

Previously, I have been a Key Stage 2 teacher for a number of years. I aim to be a leader for learning by providing high quality inclusive education for all.
